Alicia Smith
Alicia Smith is a seasoned dance instructor with over 18 years of experience teaching dancers ages 3 to 25. A dancer since the age of six, Alicia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from The University of Arizona and is trained in ballet, jazz, modern, musical theatre, and tap. Her classes are known for their dynamic approach, creativity, and strong technical foundation, providing dancers with knowledgeable instruction that helps them grow in both skill and confidence.
Alicia has taught and choreographed throughout Fremont County, coaching the Canon City High School dance team and choreographing for local performance groups, including Encore! and Tiger Ladies—the school’s show choirs. She also teaches at The B_Box studio and creates choreography for gymnastics floor routines and various community events. In addition, Alicia teaches barre and fitness classes, bringing her strong background in movement and conditioning to every session.
In addition to her professional work, Alicia is a proud wife and mother. She brings authenticity, heart, and a deep understanding of balance and dedication into every space she steps into. Whether working with young beginners or seasoned performers, Alicia is passionate about creating a positive, engaging environment where dancers can thrive. She’s excited to bring her love for dance and commitment to excellence to this new space and looks forward to dancing with you!
