Theater 101: The Basics of All Things Theater Workshop
Welcome to our Theater 101 for Youth Workshop, a fun and engaging introduction to the world of performing arts designed specifically for kids aged 7-14! This interactive workshop invites young aspiring actors to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop essential theater skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Workshop Highlights
Acting Basics: Learn the fundamentals of acting including voice projection, body language, and character development.
Improv Games: Participate in exciting improvisation activities that promote quick thinking and collaboration.
Storytelling: Discover the art of storytelling through scripts and original narratives, encouraging the magic of imagination.
Movement and Expression: Explore physical theater techniques to enhance stage presence and emotional expression.
Final Performance: Showcase your newfound skills in a fun, informal performance for family and friends at the end of the workshop.
What to Expect
Throughout the workshop, participants will engage in a variety of activities that foster teamwork and creativity. Our experienced instructors will guide kids through exercises that teach & enhance acting abilities while building confidence, making new friends, discovering the magic of theater and having a blast!
Need-to-Know Information

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing & closed-toed shoes, water bottle, and box lunch.
